There are few things more annoying than finishing an episode of your favorite Netflix show only to start the next episode and have no idea what’s going on and how the plot advanced so far without your knowing. You’re left wondering what happened, you double check that you didn’t accidentally skip an episode, but to no avail. Eventually you make peace with your lack of understanding and accept that the producers probably chose to cut costs at the expense of a consistent narrative.
